Hello fellow RPG players,
I’m Andy Stokes 3D Modeller, Texture Artist and on occasion data entry zombie at Nonagon Three and for The UGM.
It’s strange to think that just over a year ago I hadn’t heard of programs such Blender or Substance Painter, and Unity only as splash screen on one of the games I’d play on my phone (occasionally wish it was still that way – only joking Justin).
Initially, I was asked to help out with the 3D modelling of a future Nonagon Three game “Covenant of the Stars” and was pleased to be involved more with this title: The UGM.
It has been a bit of a steep learning curve for me at times, but thanks to YouTube tutorials from people like Blender, Blender Guru, and BlenderBrit for Blender and Allegorithmic for Substance Painter, it’s been an enjoyable one. As the other members of Nonagon Three are very talented in their fields and are very much perfectionists, they have pushed me to create things I wouldn’t of thought possible before I started this journey, and I can’t wait to see where we end up.
